The Michael and Anne Greenwood School of Music is a premier music education facility that harnesses the synergy of research, talent and incomparable hands-on learning experiences available only at Oklahoma State University. The building opened in 2021 thanks to lead donors Michael and Anne Greenwood.
Meet the Dean
Dr. Melinda Cro is the dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Oklahoma State University. Cro is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where she earned her Ph.D. in romance languages.
She previously served as assistant dean of student success, engagement and undergraduate studies for the College of Arts and Sciences at Kansas State University. She was also a tenured professor of modern languages who served in successive leadership roles at KSU, including graduate program director and head of the Department of Modern Languages.
Cro is the first female dean of the college to serve in a full-time, non-interim capacity.
